Hung as a sheer, Drift softens incoming light and gives the window gentle movement, the slub in the weave showing clearly when the sun is behind it. It offers daytime privacy without shutting out the world, and the recycled polyester makes it practical to live with. The palette stays in five relaxed, sandy neutrals.

We recommend the buyer request samples of all fabrics ordered, as colour renditions on-screen can vary from the fabrics photographed.

Description

Drift is a linen-look fabric woven from recycled polyester, with a subtle slub that gives it a soft, natural texture. Each metre reuses the equivalent of 12 plastic bottles, and its five sandy neutrals suit relaxed, coastal and contemporary rooms. Every piece is made to order in New Zealand.

Fabric and construction

  • Polyester with 47% recycled content
  • Subtle slub for a natural, lightly textured linen look
  • 310cm wide and continuous, so most windows are covered without a join
  • Lead-weighted hem for an even hang
  • Woven in Turkey

Performance

  • Colour fastness rated above 6 (ISO 105/B02), so the colour holds in sun-exposed rooms
  • Fire retardant, compliant with AS1530-1993 Part 2

Certification and care

  • Certified under the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) for ethical, sustainable sourcing

Colours

Driftwood, Fog, Pebble, Mist and Sand.

We recommend ordering a free sample before you buy. Screen colours vary between devices and rarely match the fabric in your own light.

Protection

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 is one of the world’s best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. It stands for customer confidence and high product safety. STANDARD 100 certification means that environmental factors are given careful consideration at every stage of the production process and ensures that there are no harmful substances in this product.

Care information

Surface dust should be removed by a duster or soft cloth. Never use abrasive products or solvent/industrial-based cleaners. We do not recommend washing or dry-cleaning drapes, roman blinds or coated linings. Huge variations in fabric composition and weave construction mean shrinkage can be far greater than 3%.

Delivery

Delivery fees are based on where you are and the size of your item. Items longer than 1950mm attract a higher fee, and rural addresses are charged at a different rate from metro areas.

We aim to manufacture and dispatch your order within 10 working days, though this may be slightly longer during peak periods. Custom-made items (excluding Honeycomb blinds) typically arrive within 2-4 working days to most New Zealand destinations (excluding public holidays), with rural and oversized deliveries potentially taking up to 2 additional working days. Need it faster? Opt for our Express Manufacturing service for an additional cost to prioritise your order, ensuring it's made and shipped within 3 business days.

Please note that Honeycomb blinds have a longer lead time and can take up to 20 working days for delivery.

You'll receive a track and trace number via email once your order has been dispatched. Please note that all delivery times are approximate
